I thought the dirty apartment would be the least of my worries. Cars are getting broken into all around the complex. There is trash all in the stairwells. The apartment placed me with someone with two cats when I listed I have a cat allergy. To "solve" the problem I will have to move out AGAIN and go through the stressful moving process. Verified Renter I think this place can be one of the best options if you are sensitive to the price of rent. Staffs are friendly, amenities are good enough to enjoy, and it's not far from the NC State campus.
Awful living conditions Where do I start? I'm an NC State student and I was lured in by the beautiful show apartment, clean pool, nice amenities and friendly staff. I am aware of the building's history but since I was promised that the management had changed and everything had been nicely updated, I signed a lease for a 3x3 apartment for my friends and I. Not the worst, but explore other options... Not bad for the price, and you’re near a lot of things so the day to day commute is pretty decent. Maintenance isn’t very helpful when It comes to repairs/pest control. The dishwasher and dryer have been broken since I moved in, and after several requests, it’s still not fixed. I also was supposed to have gotten a special included in my rent, which I never received either. The police are there every single day, but it’s pretty quiet and safe for the most part. Students beware! Read emails carefully! We went to visit site & loved it. Went over everything for 10 month lease. Specifically told manager that we could not do 12 month lease. He said they could email lease for electronic signature . They changed the dates (whether by accident or on purpose?) to a 12 month lease without advising they had done so, sent it via email & we signed.
