THANK YOU, VENUS!!! – I went in Saturday for a haircut. Mind you, I was going from below my shoulders to short....dicey for ANY woman. I talked to Venus about what I wanted, and let her at it. She gave me a MAGNIFICENT cut, and for HALF of what I've paid in other "high-brow" salons. Everyone is raving about my hair, and I LOVE it. I cannot say enough great stuff about the entire experience! Absolutely recommended--no matter how far you might have to drive.
WOW!!! – Venus is wonderful. Susan made my hair look better than it ever has with a great cut, beautiful color and highlights. I would highly recommend this salon not only for it's great service but also for it's affordable value. I will definately go back.
True colors aren't shining through! – People tell me often that I don't look my age. I believe it is because of the way Susan Venus colors my hair . Noone sees the grey! She has incredible talent and being in the shop is always fun and interesting.I highly recommend her to everyone.
The Best in Houston – No matter what you want this is the place. I took in pictures of 5 different cuts to Carol and she was able to get and idea of exactly what I wanted and deliver. This gang can set and tease your hair once a week, or keep your current style or give you something cutting edge. The atmosphere is phenomenal. Its wonderful to go to "the salon" and gab. Venus Rocks!! – Venus is a great hair colorist, cutter and she even likes to give perms! I don't get perms but a lot of people do and they are very happy customers. I hunted down a colorist using best of citysearch recommendations and found Venus. I've recommended a lot of people and everyone has been pleased! Also, her salon is very unique. A customer for life! – I've been having my hair cut at Venus Hair for over fifteen years - most of my teenage and adult life! Mardi Gras Exclamations! – I always feel upbeat and welcome. Have not had to wait. Prices: very reasonable. Some times I've dropped in without an appointment and got cheerfully worked in. Best salon and color and highlites for my money.
Two thumbs up for Venus Hair! – Ever see the movie "Steel Magnolias" and wish your hairdresser ran a shop like that? Then give Venus Hair a try! This shop has a small town feel with uptown results. Susan Venus does a great cut and color! The staff is friendly, atmosphere easygoing and the conversation entertaining. On Saturday the music is of compliments of Huey Long. Its easy to find the shop among the others on 19th Street; look for the Venus Hairse!
