Awsome! – Venus the "Goddess of Hair"! What a wonderful place. The atmosphere is fun, friendly and cool. I used to fly to a salon out of town to have my hair done about ever 6 wks because the quality of color and cut I received. Then I found Venus Hair. I've not been anywhere else since. It's also a great place with wonderful people (Huey Long and Helen, to mention a couple) and lots of laughs, too. Need a good hair do and a mental health shot in the arm? Go to Venus Hair!
Perfect results. I LOVE VENUS HAIR!!! – I've been getting my hair done in Pasadena for about 3 years. I was recommended to Venus Hair by a friend specifically to Caddy. She IS a miracle worker, despite the sign in the shop that says, "I'm just a beautician, not a miracle worker". She took the time to talk with me and tell me what would work, what wouldn't work, she was patient and very straight forward. She knows what she's doing. Editorial Review – The walls are jam-packed with masks and other knick-knacks, but get past the light-hearted interior and you can find experienced hair-dressers.
Best time getting hair done ever – I had such a great time getting my extensions put in at this salon. It feels like home. Everyone is sooooo friendly and they do an excellent job!! I highly recommend this salon.

Fun, fearless and fine – Don't be mislead-- from appearances Venus Hair looks like it may be a kitschy antiques shop, but the two Susans (Venus and Romeo) are serious about great hair. I've always hated the "beauty salon experience" but was made to feel right at home immediately. The real "Truvy's"!!! :) – These women are artists, therapists, friends and specialists!!! I happily stumbled into the good juju of their salon a couple of years ago and I shudder to find another salon! Personally, I go and let Romeo work her magic w/ hair-color and highlighting but I pop in even when I don't need 'work' done - it is too much of an event to not stop in!). what's going on? – Going to get my hair cut is not just a cut but an experience. Every time I go to Venus my problems are talked about, my views on life examined and I end up with a lightness and a feeling of warmth still left in the world. Where else can you go where you can meet an 1OO year old man selling tapes of his singing group the Ink Spots? Where do you get to see young brides getting their hair fixed for the big wedding ? Where can you go and end up borrowing swim fins , a mask and snorkel for an Hawaiina vacation?... read more
Venus Hair Rocks – Susan Venus and Susan Romeo aren't just the best hairdressers in town, they offer their customers far more..... their friendship. The shop is one of my favorite places to be.
