Long story short. I truly appreciate how the Van Bortal team addressed a issue I was having and went above and beyond to make things right. I love the New Forester I purchased and due to how well they approach customer service I would recommend Van Bortel to anyone.

Were you using a cable manufactured by the phone's manufacture or an aftermarket cable? Sometimes the cables purchase indirectly via Amazon or eBay aren't of the same quality and, therefore, don't charge at the same speeds or transmit data as well. Van Bortel Subaru made buying a new vehicle a pain free experience. The sales person, the finance manager and the person who instructed me in the operation of the vehicle were very knowledgeable, unrushed, organized and low key. The whole process moved quickly and without hassle. All my questions were answered before I asked them. It was a very positive experience.

I recently brought my new car back to Van Bortel Subaru to have servicing done and everyone treated me with courtesy and were very helpful. They took my car in when it was scheduled. The work took the time that had been predicted and I was charged the amount I had been quoted. The experience went very well and I would recommend it to anyone.

my husband and I each just purchased the Subaru Cros Trek and love them. Prior to that I had a Forester and had no problems at all with it. Was an excellent car for 5 years. No problem with Van Bortel getting service or tending to problems whenever I had any. Customer service excellent as well as the salespeople. Sales Manager Peter has gone above and beyond making any problems I have experienced right. As far as I am concerned it is one of the best dealerships in NY State.

After buying two cars over the years, my experience is outstanding every single time I come to VanBortel for service. I drive 60 miles to do it, too, and it is a pleasure to do business with competent people.
We just bought our third car from Van Bortel. What we appreciate the most is the total absence of the traditional car dealer flim-flam. A fair price was offered and a generous trade-in allowance was given for our old car. All staff were cordial and very professional. The communication was excellent throughout, with no pressure or back-room dealings. Van Bortel exemplifies the kind of dealership that makes buying a car a pleasure.
