The VA hospital seems to be joining the rest of the system. The pharmacy now has you check in, get a number from a machine, then wait to check in with a person before they stat filling the order, then you wait for the order to fill. What happened to the old system of the Dr. sending the order to the pharmacy and the patient picking it up. Doubled my wait time but it added new jobs.
I’m so amazed at the kind staff and the on point protocol. The staff is so considerate to the family and friends.

My husband has to have surgery and part of his foot removed they have us going to the VA hospital early in the morning his appointments are at 8:30 and 8:45 and surgery they haven't given us a time just it's going to be early in the morning we asked for lodging we was denied because th ere system says we live 49.4 miles away and we have to live 49.5 miles away now when I google it it comes up 50 miles away this is wrong and we can't appeal it.
I have never had a problem with the VA system in the USA

My vet has been waiting sine last year for a problem all on an MRI and Dr's say they are going to give him cortisone injections. And NOT ONE call even after sending in paperwork in over 6 months. Placed several complaints with ADVOCATES office..The Last Advocate expected ME to do their JOB. Several people there not doing their job. To top it off my vet was seen for stroke. His gold chain and cross were taken from him while he easy in the ER. THIS is not a way to treat our VETS. So Discusted in our VA system. VETS deserve way... read more
