RecommendedI have used the Portland VA for years now. They are always professional and proactive.
Not a single NA or CNA for the 3+ days I’ve been here with family has taken the time to read the first sign, let alone the second or the third put up after the 5th person failed to read and attempted to use the wrong limb for tests. Half the RNs are lazy and don’t care. I’m about to attempt a fleuro-pink poster and sharpie down the areas they should not be touching. i have always had great care at porland for my surgeries and follow ups at roseburg. just a long ways to travel. do not like their ride. do not like white city at all
i have received great care every single time I have been there. I never wait more than 15 minutes and that is rare, for my appointments. I appreciate the reminder call and postcard. Thank you, each of you, individually, for making me feel respected and for the great care. Thanks.
Actually gives veterans benefits without making you feel like a belittled person
Vancouver location- can't access the internet from many areas at this VA. That's ridiculous when I want to pull up myhealth-evet to check for appointments, and there's no internet connection.

Been a few years since I wrote a letter of recommendation but feel this one needs to be done. Was a bit skeptical about having eye surgery done when I learned of a need for cataract surgery. After several visits of evaluation and testing it didn't take long for the team of the ophthalmology floor to remove the doubts. Not once was I disappointed at the level of professionalism and care.
