Not the best physicians here. I had 4 pulmonary embolism for over a 1 year. They continuously misdiagnosed me with anxiety. Yah you would have anxiety of you are having chest pain everyday. Then someone i never even met out that i was pill seeking in my chart. That note is still there today. Right on the front of my chart!! Thank PHCS for the worst medical care I've even had.

I have been taking care of my dad for the last 4 years, Alzheimer's and a failing heart, have I waited a long time sometimes, yes, did they do a good job, yes, remember, if you yell at them it doesn't make them go any faster, they are doing the best they can, what if someone yelled at your family member who worked there ? Not so good, just be patient and grateful our vets have a place to go, thank you to all who have served and who are still serving
The Portland VA is OK. The price is good. Getting an appointment is also OK. How ever, when ever we show up on time for our appointment we can wait any where from 10 minutes to 3 hours!! The waiting times are usually very long. Also would really be nice to have a doctor we can see in Salem Oregon instead of always having to travel to Portland. Have been on a waiting list for 4 years for a primary doctor for Salem.
ER was excellent and floor 6 superb! Doctors, Nurses and C.N.A.'s. Dr. Parson's was excellent. They did a great job taking care of my husband and really cared about his health.
I went in yesterday to have bloodwork drawn. There was hardly any wait! LPN Mary from West Linn was cross training and did a great job- hardly felt the 'pinch' at all. Both she and her trainer, Brian, were very professional but still fun to be around. A very good experience! Fingers crossed that my PCP is as happy when she sees my cholesterol numbers ......
They were very informative and they took very good care of my husband
I have nothing but good to say, excellent Doctors and treatment.
Outstanding Treatment Center. They have shown the utmost care, support, compassion, and skill during my stay. The nursing staff is exceptionally well-trained and has offered the best care I've received in a VA ever.
