Took almost 2 hours just to drop off an eyeglass RX. Not impressed.
I was pleased that a walk-in ER visit, start to finish, only took about 90 mins. It was a little slower than usually, but still, the doctors made their rounds and got us treated. I even had an X-Ray done too, so a lot in a short amount of time. Dr. Kari Hickey was great!
The Portland VA is Awesome. � They really have a great system. And all the health care they give is top notch. Im from Eugene and i see a rheumatologist in Portland. Dr. David Smith is the greatest, the best. Thank you Portland VA.
I have received excellent care from this facility over the last 19 years that I've been a patient despite issues with staff members. The trick to getting this care is working with the staff until you find providers that click with you personally. I have nothing but praise for Rheumatologist Dr Smith who has been an excellent provider during my entire time as a patient. My primary care doctor. The care I have received throughout the Portland VA system has been great during the past 5 years i have lived here. I have been to about 7 facilities around the country, and this one ranks near the top in my opinion. I had a minor surgery yesterday, and the urology team was fantastic, as well as the staff in pre-op and recovery. We (veterans) are fortunate that we live in an area that falls into this VA system. We I hear stories about other VA centers, I know that Portland / Vancouver does not fall into that category.
The People Here Are Always Trying to Help You As Much as Possible! They are Always Friendly and Work as Best They Can!
Once again they took care of me in a timely manner and were very professional. Always a good experience for me.
Different departments never seem to communicate with each other and the receptionist, Vanessa, at my primary care was rude and enjoyed toying with my obvious frustration at their scheduling mistakes. Which was never corrected, by the way.
Very respectful and helpful. Been there a few times these last couple months. Always the same treatment. Such a blessing
