My Nurses, Doctors, And staff have swormed around me in my time of need. I used to have panic attacks everytime I came here.....not anymore.
Barriers to care, rude employees, and a lack of funding all create the shambling corpse of the veterans affairs.
Not only have I enjoyed working here for many years, I have also had nothing but excellent care from people.
Exceptional care from everyone! I feel at ease having Dad there.
I was treated quickly and the staff in the Emergency Department and X-Ray were so cool! I really like the Portland VA a lot. Everyone is so down to earth and they care! The two doctors that saw me were very engaged and I felt that they were working hard to ensure that I was healthy. I'm really impressed!!!!!!!
Staff, nurses and techs generally good people. You get what you give so if you can try to be positive with them it's a lot better than being negative.
I would like to thank Andrew in Specialty Clinic Scheduling for his assistance in setting up an appointment for me. He did an excellent job of keeping me informed throughout the day, and I really appreciated his efforts to coordinate my new appointment with an existing one, to save me an extra day of traveling to Portland. Kudos!!

I took my boyfriend in to the ER yesterday around 6 am and it turns out his appendix had ruptured. By yesterday afternoon he was in an OR and by last night we had a room on the 9th floor with amazing staff. We couldn't be better taken care of here ♡
