Parking sucks and need more organization with everything
They have sent my father home to die with his leg like this, pics below. They won't amputate, won't help cut his toenails that are infected due to leg swelling. He has no cartilage because of extreme lower leg swelling, he walks hunched over on crutches and drags his leg due to pain, has to use a catheter- too painful to walk to bathroom. Today , I went to the clinic to follow up on my optometry visit last week, I decided that I would get my ID card replaced. As I sat waiting, me and other veterans who were also waiting were told that the ID machine was down. Not a problem, but this was the third time in the last 45 days. Today I went to the Ft Worth VA to inquire about medication that was held I still had not received. After patiently waiting in the line I explained to the pharmacy tech I really needed my medication and had been waiting for almost 3 weeks. She informed me that they held it but I should have received it, but still agreed to fill it today. Took my father-in-law to the CPAP clinic at Dallas VAMC last Friday. We arrived early, and he was seen about 30 minutes before our actual appointment time. CPAP tech was extremely nice and helpful. Prosthetics also provided excellent customer service. The entire experience far surpassed our expectations.
This is where my husband go's for all his medical. My husband is US Navy Retied Veteran 100% disable.
