I did not even make it inside - the line to wait for valet parking was all the way out on to the city streets - parking was impossible - I cannot walk that far so I left. If I did not have to go back I wouldn't!!! When I go back in a couple of weeks I will take the DART train - the walk will be difficult but it will be better than the experience I had trying to park. Can't even get my meds changed to something that works! Everyone is always "out of the office today". "You can always do a walkin and wait for 6 to 8 hours" gtfoh.
If the Dallas VA was "Dallas group of Doctors Hospital, Inc" the Government would come in and shut it down, and send people to jail.
Wow, i can't count the times i've been here, started in late 1968, i watch this place grow and grow. I was the young guy at the clinics with the old guys, now i'm the old guy with the young one. With all of the complaints about the V A, i've had wonderful service here. Been to see the patient rep. only once, they took care of my complaint the same day. One of the emergency room nurses messed up and wrote the people down on a board somewhere and had the reason they were there with the wrong patient. I was there for a shoulder injury and they marked that down beside another patient and marked beside my name a infection or something of that nature in the area of a tooth or an ear.
This was my first experience at VA... I took a friend for Day surgery ... I found the Drs., Nurses & all staff to be very nice & obliging... I especially liked the Valet people . I found the hospital entrance dirty & not very welcoming. I think the entire place could be cleaner but above all I think our military & their families deserve better. There was no coffee made from my arrival @ 7:30 am until I left @ 4:00 pm.Making coffee is a pretty simple thing & a very welcome addition to a long day.... Linda Lodge.... first time... read more
i gave it a fair, didn't want to say poor as there were some good people there. but here is the issue.. well it's a problem. the wait times. getting blood drawn, waiting to see my dr, who called in sick and had one lady doing the work. this dr was only interested in tell about me from what she read,little or no conversation about why i came in there. my rt arm has been numb from the elbow down, said get an xray, after listening to her ramble, went and waited at the xray line, young lady was very kind, but here the deal with ... read more
I been unable to log in to MY HEALTH VET for more than a month with repeated calls I was reassured every time that they would fix my problem and for some reason they will not or can not fix my log in . I think by now anyone could have fixed everything wrong with the now broken site and hear me the sit is broken and they need to hire someone or another company to fix it
Staff in nuclear medicine was outstanding and very professional. Now.....the parking....was absolutely insane. People driving in circles yelling at eachother....flipping eachother off...parking on curbs and grass. I don't even think the new garage will help much when it opens
