Absolute crap. While a handful of nurses in the SICU were great at caring for my father, the overwhelming majority were either lazy, apathetic, or just plain rude. After 2 days of this, (including spiking blood sugar levels that NEVER happened before), we ended up discharging him and transferring him to Baylor University Hospital of Dallas. Oddly enough, as soon as he was at Baylor, his blood sugar magically went back to "normal" levels. Went to Dallas VA Tuesday for a heart catheterization the results weren't a surprise to me but what the VA did next was a surprise. I have 2 70% clogged arteries and need double bypass surgery then got sent home, told if I have chest pain to come back! never heard of any hospital doing that
They forgot to schedule a blood test to check my INR level , So now wait under 100 years . Wow were did they get these denist from, So think I will take a loan out get it done myself.

Dallas V.A has always treated me good. Unlike Shreveport v.a. They work with me on trying to set all of my appointments on the same day... Great people and great atmosphere. The only thing I have a probleme with is the parking... If you don't get there before 6 a.m. good luck on finding a place to park...
Went to the lab at the DALLAS VA clinic. Three people where sitting at the front, in front of computers. I walked up, told them why I was there, I gave my last name and last four. One of the ladies behind the desk told me to grab a number to the right and I did. I was the only one there. She announced the number and looked around. Again I was the only one there. Ridiculous.
5 hour wait and nothing done. Went to an actual hospital.
The team in radiology were wonderful. From check-in to walking out everyone treated my dad and I with kindness and consideration. Everyone smiled, seemed eager to help and actually seemed happy to see us. I knew they were taking good care of my father, a Korean war veteran.
Easy to check in whether thru the computer system or the clerk. The lady clerk is very friendly & extremely helpful. The doctors I had seen were respectful, attentive to my needs & provided me with the right resources. The staff at the lab & the checking out clerk are friendly & very nice people. The facility is clean, the waiting has been quick. I dont feel a drag to come here at all, Thank You for making it a nice environment
