The VA sucks. I’m done with this place. The Drs I’ve dealt with here are absolutely clueless. The took me to get X-Rays immediately upon arrival. Then they sent me back to the X-ray tech 30 minutes later and the Tech says why are you here you already took X-rays. Dr said I didn’t know you took X-rays. How did the nurses know but she didn’t. I asked her for the results when I was getting discharged. She said she would be back and I never saw her again. Dose anyone work in patient advocate office phone has been ringing for days no answer
My participation in the Hud/ Vash program was terminated apparently without my knowledge. I only found out today that it occurred on February 1, 2018. I took a proposed contract to the Dallas Housing Authority. They told me I would have to start all over again. I have probably already lost the unit I wanted. Since then I have not been able to get communication going with Hud/ Vash at the VA by phone or by calling the National Hotline for Homeless Veterans. The first point of contact is valet when coming to this hospital. I was dropping off my mother so she can retrieve a new oxygen tank. I noticed that their valet staff was rude to customers and slamming doors and yelling at elderly patrons. I went to park and wait on my mother to call once she’s was finished. Once I got the call I came around to pick my mother up. I went to flag my mother down so I could pull over and pick her up. I then heard someone blaring a car horn at me and using obscene language. The women behind the counter spent more time going over their tinder matches loudly and gossiping about both dead and alive patients so loud we knew everything about them.
Rude employees, unhelpful website info, nothing but runarounds when trying to get stuff done. 1/5.
10 years this place was Great and working Great. But now days it hard just getting and appointment, every 6 months. I wish it was Great again.
It seems as if you are just another name on the list of many names. It’s as if it’s to early in the morning. Or they just want to get through the 8 hours and go home. Sad for someone that was willing to lay down their life for their country
