The professionals and techs are great - administration, café, cleaning employees are some of the rudest people I have ever had to be around.
This place is a joke unfortunately. After attempt after attempt to see my primary care doctor after 18 months he is not here once again. Why do I have. A primary care doctor that never here when they schedule my appointments months in advance, and the replacement doctor isn’t even here yet and his appts started at 9am; it’s almost 10:15. Why does this place treat us as if we are insignificant and expendable?
It’s just a waiting game waiting on your turn to see the doctor.
I’ve been dealing with the Dallas VA for a while now. And continue being treated like trash. But I’m trying to stay positive. I’m waiting on one of the directors from Patient Advocacy. A friend and my self two weeks ago over heard a discussion with three VA workers in the housing department. First guys comment in housing, I’m so tired of dealing with this stupid Vet and having to help his sorry (curse words), the Indian girl who works in housing at the VA responded, you mean every stupid Vet that walks through that door. I have been using the VA for more than 17 years and have not had a problem with the service even to today. My visits are always timely, if I need to go someplace they assist me in making my appointments and keeping me aware of my situations and health concerns, Mr. Doctor and I have one of the best relationships that one could have and very open we discuss my health problems as well my family. I for one have had good service since 2001.
Have had opportunity to visit several clinics while accompanying a veteran. The utmost respect, cordial welcome and informative interactive care was witnessed.
