August 5th my husband (VET) had an accident requiring him to be airlifted to a trauma hospital where he underwent surgery to stabilize a compound fracture to the femur, crushed ankle and multiple broken bones in the foot. He was released to home after 3 days. 8 days later he had a heart attack which again required him to be transported to a hospital. Omw home and I’m pleasantly surprised. Their centralized computer system meant FAST flow. I got a full work up at the lab, in to see my doctor, directed over to the EKG to get one, back to my doctor to discuss it, then picked up a prescription from the pharmacy with minimal wait times. NOT BAD!!!
The doctors seem to really care about the veterans, that’s the feeling I get, since my first visit in 2014 it’s a 100 times better keep it up Dallas va.
The Dallas VA likes to hang up on you, after you've been on hold for 30+ minutes when you're trying to get a non-VA ER bill taken care of. Thank you so much for serving veterans. I'll be calling the white house next.
Over all friendly staff, but also a lot of rude unfriendly self centered staff that complain all the time. Recently I had knee surgery and several times I have been run into by VA staff that saw me on a walker and expected me to move. I have also never been in an elevator at the VA with more then 2 employees that are complaining about working at the VA. This is very unprofessional and rude. If they have so many problems they should find employment somewhere else.
Have been taking of me for years, I am well please with their service.
