I generally don’t have a problem here but for some reason this last occasion has been horrible. My elderly father has been moved (hospital rooms) on multiple occasions and staff fail to move his belongings with him. My father has gone days without his glasses and cell phone to be able to contact family. We contact the nurses station and they have no answers. How hard is to to allow a patient their phone to be able to update family???
They don’t provide the services necessary for me. They don’t take me seriously. I have had to go outside of the va twice because of the pain that I was in to get surgery. This VA is a joke! Dental is awful! When I call the VA I get hung up on constantly and it takes at least an hour out of my day to get an appointment or anything from prosthetics because I keep getting hung up on and have to call back! I am fed up!
Myself personally wouldn't even give them one star but that's the lowest rating. I'm going to refer back to the old saying you can put all the lipstickyou want on a pig but it's still a pig in the end I guess what I'm trying to say is they can put hundreds of millions of dollars into the look of this place doesn't make it any better. We can't read the screens in the pharmacy for our names. They are blue and white. Maybe I need glasses now but the people with glasses are complaining they cant see either.
I arrived late Friday evening for X-rays after they had shut down; talked to Dinna and Nichole at 3rd floor X-ray. They said they would go ahead and take care of me this was around 2100 very thankful for them or it would have been a waisted trip.
Just released today. Very Professional and Very Clean. If you are a Veteran and require medical attention, I would not hesitate coming here. Thank You to the entire staff.
It's been over a year and no one has called me back for an appointment to check on me. I went there for a walking I found out my doctor was no longer working there and they gave me some lady doctor that I don't even know I went to the Platinum Team and went there in the morning as a walking and I did not even get seen. By the time 1:00pm came I left the place. Because I had to go pick up my son from school. I was the second person to come in as a walk-in that morning.
