Appointment was scheduled for 11:20. I wasn't late. Placed in exam room within 20 minutes after arrival. Finally seen by the doctor at 1:02. She was done st 1:07. Evidently she didn't review the information that I gave to the nurse regarding the reason for the appointment. She didn't address any of the issues. Her focus was on previous visit. Left feeling as though I was wasting her time.
My son and I volunteer every Friday at the VA hospital. Let me tell you I have never met a better bunch of people who greet you and smile at you and appreciate what we do. I'm thankful for their service.
VA Hospital of Birmingham is the best ~ from the Van drivers to the nurses to the doctors to those behind the desks...even the workers we don't know other than a flash meet & greet in the hall or elevator! We are so well cared for! Big Love and thanks from this "war orphan" Veteran wife! <3
Went to the Callahan Eye Clinic and had a blast,from the minute I hit the doors nothing but smiles how are you's and how can I/we help you.WOULD ESPECIALLY LIKE TO THANKGRACE&DR.BOWEN FOR THEIR CAREFUL EXAMINATION OF MY EYES AND INSIGHTFUL ADVICE ON WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH THEM AND WHAT"I"COULD DO TO CARE OF NOT ONLY MY EYES BUT SPIRT TOO.THEN THEM GORGEOUS WOMEN WHO TOOK THE TIME TO HELP ME GET THE���FIT AND FRAMES AWESOME JOB LADIES Y'ALL BE BLESSED.THANKS
I'm writing this for my husband who is a patient. People tell you all sorts of negative things about the V A Hospital. I have to admit he's received excellent care following his stroke. The staff has been so accomodating in every way possible. So grateful that I can trust them with his care👍. Which is what every Vet needs. But most of all I thank God for He is the great physician.
In general the VA was great for what was going on. I have a cath in my stomache and it was trying to get infected. The main thing I I didn't like was the nurse that did the interview. She seemed like what I was telling her was made up. She was Just plain rude
I am still a patient but so far I couldn't be more pleased with my treatment the entire staff has been 5 stars
