Other than being in the waiting room from 5:00 until 2 the next day. The OR was whole better experience. Are there any overnight maintenance? Trash was spilling out everywhere. Felt bad for first shift
The Birmingham VA has its good points and its bad points just like any other Hospital. I've been going to the VA for over 9 years, I've been assigned at least 4 doctors in the last 9 years and I can honestly say three out of four or some of the best doctors I've had. As a veteran are a civilian I believe that percentage is pretty good. I'm starting to see the dental apartment at the VA all the doctors there seem to be good at what they do very pleasant and willing to help. I took a patient of mine there by ambulance. They separated us and he sat in a wheelchair in the back in front of the nurses station for 7 hours. When I finally got to him he was wet from pee from his shirt to his shoes. They are not friendly and I think the veterans deserve better. It was sad to see the man & women come in hurting terribly or so very sick and have to sit for hours upon hours. Do not recommend
Very efficient, friendly staff. We were in and out in less than an hour.
Docs and nurses we all professional. Checked in and meet with smiles. I did hate however that all the physical therapists go to lunch at the same time. 12-1. So it did make for a very long day when I got there at 8am. But overall I think the VA Bham AL does a great job. How can I be down. (JOB) lol
Very unprofessional wait a very long time the waiting room is very small in need to be more comfortable
