Hope you never have to be involved with any claims with this company. My neighbor backed into my car door and his insurance was with USAA. My estimate said the repair should take 4 days. No one at USAA bothered to tell me that if the repair was not done in the 4 days that I would be responsible for the rental. Well, I dropped it off at my repair shop on a Monday and was told on Thursday that it would not go to paint until the next Monday. I finally got it back a week and 3 days after I dropped it off. Warning! Change in policy after years not communicated. Apparently USAA has enacted a new policy whereby your deposits are not honored for up to 14 days. I have been with USAA for 15 years and this never happened until now. I could have left the funds where they were, according to USAA this was my fault, but the policy was never communicated. They used to call me by my rank and all of the sudden not so. We should all unite and make them accountable in the only place they hold dear, their pocketbooks. What happened to you USA... read more
Maybe I expect too much. I had a problem with a credit card charge. Spend several hours on the internet trying to file a protest. Gave up and called USAA from Australia. No problem up at 5am, after 1 and one half hours, three people transferred me around my call was dropped. Called back two people said they could do no more than the Internet.
