They sure don't make it easy to file a complaint. Nothing on their web page under the contact information unless you have a complaint that fits one of a limited number of topics. I am concerned about their wasting money on automotive glass replacement. They insisted that I use a specific company, Safelite, that wanted to charge me $700 for the windshield. My $500 deductible meant that I needed to pay $500 and they would pay the balance. I used a local company and my total was $315. Total. By not using their preferred company... read more

being trying to resolve a claim issue with them w/o any results that involved with a client of theirs. was told that an adjuster would call me and that they may need photos but haven't received any calls as of yet. sent photos via email but receive a reply that i need to send it to some other department. not very happy with their services so far.

I got rear ended last weekend while pulling an RV trailer with my pickup. The pickup is insured by USAA and the RV is insured by Progressive. Based on the sterling reputation of USAA, I expected they would run circles around Progressive on customer service, however it's been the complete opposite. Progressive has already hand-delivered a check to my RV-repair shop, while USAA hasn't even managed to recommend a place that's qualified to inspect my truck for frame damage. I have been doing business with USAA for 24 years and generally they have been fairly good. Then my credit card got hit with fraudulent activity in February. Somebody bought a bunch of Disneyland tickets from an internet site. USAA replaced my card, but it is mid-June and I am still dealing with this one simple fraudulent transaction. I have called 6 times and filed three fraud reports and still this transaction is on my card. They expect me to pay for someone else's Disneyland vacation! I had USAA auto insurance and they wouldn't tailor my insurance policy to reflect that teenagers were driving separate cars. Basically I had to have all drivers on every car. I switched auto insurance to another company. In addition I had an adjuster come inspect my garage foundation for earthquake damage. Naturally it wasn't covered.
