I am a 100% service connected disabled veteran and a USAA member for about 58 years now. I have been appalled in recent years at the way USAA has walled itself off from me with their phone menus and general impersonality. Recently I applied for a relatively modest VA loan, but the amount of information they require copies of, including mostly information they already have in other documentation goes beyond all reason. We were stopped at an intersection and a woman with USAA auto insurance turned into our lane - my husband hit the horn, but it was too late. She admitted to the police that it was her fault and it was written up in the police report. USAA denied the claim stating that we were in the intersection when she hit us. We were not in the intersection at all. They were rude when we talked to them on the phone. If this is how they treat people with claims against their members, I would never recommend them to anyone. If I could give USAA a 0, I would. They go through every trick in the book not to pay a claim. WHY pay for premium insurance for a company you will be kicking yourself about later. I have been a customer for over 26 years. I have switched my auto insurance and am trying to extricate myself from their other products. HORRIBLE COMPANY.

#USAA once again for the 6th week in a row you have withheld half my husbands hard working money and it takes a week to get it. We were willing to give you guys another chance but we're done. Final straw and we're over it. We have mouths to feed and bills to pay. With holding his hard earned money is bull.... and pushes us to ask for help. Over it. Done. No more.

I received an email that there was fraudulent activity on my debit card. I have been calling for TWO DAYS and I'm placed on endless hold. No one has assisted me. For all I know the folks in South Africa continue to use my debit card, because I can't reach anyone at this terrible bank.

I have had USAA auto insurance for 11/2 years and they have raised my rates every six months.I started at $373.00 every six month and now I am up to $493.00 every six months.They tell me every one got a increase because gas is cheap and more people on the road.That's two hundred dollars a year and I have not cost them a dime.God forbid I get in a fender bender,it would go through the roof.Not happy and I am looking for new insurance.
