USAA allows non US citizens to join without any affiliation to US Government. What gives USAA? I thought memberships were exclusive to the hard working US Military and their families???
I went today to report an accident and you cannot speak to a person. I'm changing insurances
I am stuck out of town and have found out my home and auto policies have been cancelled because they don't have prof of my service. resent /my e-mail containing my DD-214 that was sent 6/17/16 and was told they would call me back in two hours. three hours later I called back and could not reach the guy I spoke with and told my story several more times until the last person that told me nothing was going to happen for at least 24 to 48 hours and said I was lying about being promised a call back in two hours. Kicking myself for not canceling USAA, last time I had to deal with them. They are GREAT until you have an a claim...God forbid they make repairs as promised, instead of totaling your car and giving offering a fraction of what's it's worth.
USAA claims to CARE about military members past and present. This is the BIGGEST lie! I spent 3 years paying premiums with no tickets and no accidents. I was an insurance carrier's dream. When South Carolina law said if you sell insurance in the state you couldn't turn anyone away; USAA dropped ALL military members in SC and pulled out of the state. So USAA you can bite me. I know the truth.
I love USAA - not only did they save me a ton of money on my auto/motorcycle and home owners insurance, I am currently working through a claim in which my motorcycle has been totaled. They have, at every turn, been available, proactive and empathetic. I have never had to wait on hold long enough to realize I've been on hold; even if my adjuster isn't available, there is someone else who I can talk too who actually has answers. I'm staying.
Very hard time fixing an issue on there mistake. Get the run around. Nobody knows what they are doing. I was transfered 7 times an still haven't gotten my issues resolved. Use to love usaa now hate it.
This is the worst Ian u can have for auto claims! No one communicates with each other no adjustor ever calls u. You have to call cust abs to find anything out and it has been a month car still it repaired and body shop still not received check!!!!!!! Now they want to tell me rent a car expires tomorrow. Even though they admit all the delays have been their fault! Going insane trying to deal with them! And they claim to help service members? Horrible horrible service totally messed up my insurance. Cancelled it by mistake because they are clueless. Ongoing for a month to fix it. Too bad 26 years of being a customer down the drain. More concerned with commercials during football than customers.
