BEWARE BEWARE!!! I never submit reviews but I think everyone should know this place is a little shady, I went to Miguel 1st time he razored my haircut and it was horrible! I think all the great reviews you read are from them / salon cause they are never busy I'm down on main every other day and I know this sounds mean but he smelled really bad like smoke, after the cut it took sometime to grow out and I will never go back, try sweet 1017 up the street love them.

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE I called there asking if anyone was good with color and they told me they have color specialists. Went the other night and the hair dresser (sean) burned my scalp so bad that my head was red for 2 days. Not only that he missed LARGE sections of my hair and now I have partial blonde hair with pieces of ORANGE and BROWN. Then charged me 125.00 for it. Debbie is awesome!! I went to Debbie for my hair and was surprised at how nice she is. She is very professional and gave me exactly what I wanted. I love my hair, it has never been this straight and soft before. Thank you Debbie!!
Jerry Rocks- my new hairstylist!! A friend of mine referred Upstairs Downstairs Salon . I had Jerry color and cut my hair. I LOVE IT!! He took a great deal of care in choosing and putting on my color-it's 3 dimensional in caramels and blonde, it's beautiful and shiny, and he gave me the best cut I have ever had. I had a lot of fun while there, Jerry is funny and everybody else so nice! Thanks Jerry I'll be back !
Upstairs Downstairs Is Like Being at Home Two years ago, I was in search of a new stylist. Since I frequent Main Street, Seal Beach, I thought Why not try something new? Where's Waldo??? Right here at Upstairs Downstairs Salon doing hair! I used to go to Waldo in H.B. a while back, but he left and I never heard where he went. Last week my husband and I were in Seal Beach for dinner and strolling down Main Street we saw a dude doing hair through the window. Upstairs Downstairs Salon is Fabulous! Lisa has been my stylist for 15 years. She is awesome! She has never done the same hair style twice. Now that's being creative! She's even done my hair on the set. She can make it look so many different ways in no time. Ant the color... Ooh La La Kandra King
Great salon even greater stylist! Loved it! The salon, the atmosphere and most importantly... the stylist! Jacki was really great ,my highlights and cut came out so well!! I will definitely refer all my friends and family to her.
