Jerry Zepeda is the best! Upstairs Downstairs is a great little salon with a wonderfully cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The decor is funky and unique, and the stylists and owner are very friendly and down to earth. Today was the first time I had my hair cut by Jerry, who is easily the kindest, most accommodating stylist I have ever met. Jerry Zepeda Great Cut and Color It took me years to find a stylist who asks you what you want and delivers on that request. I received the best hair cut and color I have ever had from Jerry Zepeda.
Loved the salon, Wa is awesome! I went to this salon for the first time last week. It has great atmosphere and my stylist, Wa Kutscher was great. She did a wonderful job, great highlights and stylish cut, I would recommend her and the salon to anyone! She even sent me a thank you card, very professional.

WOW! I wanted to find a new stylist/colorist because I wasn't all that happy with my old one. Well, a friend recommended Upstairs Downstairs in Old Town. Everytime I try a new stylist for color I am nervous about how it will turn out. I met Sean, we talked about what I was looking for and mentioned the problems I had with the last person who did my color. He seemed to 'get' what I was talking about. All said and done, I am very pleased with the color/blonde. And I even got a great cut too! Thanks Sean! See ya soon!
In response to Brooke As a co-worker of seans, i just want to make it clear that Brooke was a color correction client. When she first arrived we all noticed that her hair has had alot of stress due to coloring and bleaching, etc, thus making it susceptible to even more extreme damage. She wanted to bleach out the black chunks she had, the ones she claims that sean missed, plus the rest of her hair. We all know that black is hard to lift to a blonde, so it could take a while. Miguel Ramirez-Hair Sylist Miguel has been a great asset to Upstairs Downtowns Salon & Boutique. He always goes the extra mile for his clients. If you need a last minute color touch-up on your hair, hair cut or style at the last minute he is will stop what he is doing and come down to the salon to make you look your best!! BEWARE OF THIS PLACE I called there asking if anyone was good with color and they told me they have color specialists. Went the other night and the hair dresser (sean) burned my scalp so bad that my head was red for 2 days. Not only that he missed LARGE sections of my hair and now I have partial blonde hair with pieces of ORANGE and BROWN. Then charged me 125.00 for it.
