MY HAIR CANT LIVE WITHOUT MIGUEL!!!! Omg I love your job Miguel I go to him maybe every month!. I tried other hairstylist in the past but nobody ever worked my hair like Miguel!!. Miguel is awesome I looked up the reviews in the insider pages to find a new hair salon. I was scared to try a new place, but desperately needed to as I was commuting nearly 40 miles to my old hair salon. Miguel was hospitable, creative and gave me the best haircut and color of my life. It is important to note that I have been having my hair professionally colored for 18 years, and he not only took the yellow tones out, but expertly gave it new radiant highlites. I highly recommend him.
Great experience...until my parking ticket!!! I went to this salon, and to Jerry specifically based on the reviews I read on this website. I totally agree, the atmosphere is casual and friendly. Jerry was sweet, accommodating, and so much fun! Jerry Zepeda is the best! Upstairs Downstairs is a great little salon with a wonderfully cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The decor is funky and unique, and the stylists and owner are very friendly and down to earth. Today was the first time I had my hair cut by Jerry, who is easily the kindest, most accommodating stylist I have ever met. WOW! I wanted to find a new stylist/colorist because I wasn't all that happy with my old one. Well, a friend recommended Upstairs Downstairs in Old Town. Everytime I try a new stylist for color I am nervous about how it will turn out. I met Sean, we talked about what I was looking for and mentioned the problems I had with the last person who did my color. He seemed to 'get' what I was talking about. All said and done, I am very pleased with the color/blonde. And I even got a great cut too! Thanks Sean! See ya soon!
Loved the salon, Wa is awesome! I went to this salon for the first time last week. It has great atmosphere and my stylist, Wa Kutscher was great. She did a wonderful job, great highlights and stylish cut, I would recommend her and the salon to anyone! She even sent me a thank you card, very professional.
Unmatched Experience Being the hair fanatic that i am, i just wanted to rave about my absolutely magnificent experience at Upstairs Downstairs. These Guys Rock!! I love my new hair cut and color. Mason colored my hair and I just love the color and how soft it is. His brother Jerry gave me a fabulous cut and I just love it.He took the time to show me the proper way to blow dry it to make it look great every day. I will definitley go back and recommend them. Jerry Zepeda Great Cut and Color It took me years to find a stylist who asks you what you want and delivers on that request. I received the best hair cut and color I have ever had from Jerry Zepeda. It was done with courtesy, humor and my time at the salon was fantastic. Jerry provided water, chocolates and fresh berries along with a movie while he did my hair. If you haven't been to this salon and Jerry you are missing the best salon in Orange County.
