5 star salon I have never had a better cut or color If you are looking for a salon that is comfortable, reasonably priced, funky and fun interior, friendly, and knowledgeable about cuts and color, look no more. I just got back from my first cut, color, and highlight with Holly. My hair is not easy to style or color. I have a lot of gray, and thick, straight hair. Excellent job Miguel!!! My hair never looked better!!! I am so happy i found Miguel!! He does an amazing job and my hair looks so cute! The price was really good and i was surprised since he does such a great job. He is truly wonderful. The shop is clean and so pretty!!!
Upstairs Downstairs Is Like Being at Home Two years ago, I was in search of a new stylist. Since I frequent Main Street, Seal Beach, I thought Why not try something new? Great place! I love my hair!!! Thank-you Matt-Mr. Handsomeness! Matt did the most beautiful job of highlighting my hair, I'm sooo happy! I felt so comfortable at the salon too-everybody is so laid back, it makes you feel like you've been going there forever. I highly recommend this salon to anyone who is down to earth and wants fabulous Hair!!
Great salon! Everyone is very friendly and fun. Talented stylists-I love my hair. Not like typical snotty salon-very down to earth bunch. I got a great color and fresh baked cookies with coffee while I waited. They also have cool gift ideas for the youth, reasonable prices and friendly help. I'm glad I found this place.
Where's Waldo??? Right here at Upstairs Downstairs Salon doing hair! I used to go to Waldo in H.B. a while back, but he left and I never heard where he went. Last week my husband and I were in Seal Beach for dinner and strolling down Main Street we saw a dude doing hair through the window. I said to my hubby I think that's my favorite hairstylist in there, so we went in and sure enough Don (Waldo) is who it was. Jerry Rocks- my new hairstylist!! A friend of mine referred Upstairs Downstairs Salon . I had Jerry color and cut my hair. I LOVE IT!! He took a great deal of care in choosing and putting on my color-it's 3 dimensional in caramels and blonde, it's beautiful and shiny, and he gave me the best cut I have ever had. I had a lot of fun while there, Jerry is funny and everybody else so nice! Thanks Jerry I'll be back !
Kitty is the best for your Haircut and color! If you want a fabulous cut and beautiful color, Kitty is the best! She is very detailed, quick and precise. My haircuts and colors always turn out perfect! I have had other cuts and colors for double the price that don't even compare to Kitty's work! Great Experience I went to Upstairs Downstairs out of desperation to find a new salon and based on the reviews I found here. The woman who answered the phone made an appointment for me just two days after my call (not something my last salon would do). I was greeted the very moment I walked in the door and found everyone to be very friendly. My appointment was with Jerry. He was very accommodating and listened to all of my input.
