I had the pleasure of visiting Universal Appliance this weekend and ended up getting my entire kitchen suited up with new Appliances. There entrance is on the first floor of the shopping center, and they are pretty much in the center space. I purchased all of my kitchen appliances over a year ago from Universal. The price was very good and I liked their showroom and selection. My order was delivered as promised and installers did very good job. So, I can only complement Universal's sales staff and delivery crew. About a week ago I needed service for my refrigerator, so I called Universal. Technician arrived same day and did an incredible and very professional job. I'm very pleased and definitely recommend Universal. Good job.
I'm a tough reviewer but I believe this establishment deserves a higher rating than it gets. We bought a dishwasher from Edward. We found excellent service, lots of options, and better price than Home Depot. We changed our mind about the color and called Edward. No problem, he made the change for us right then...They promised us delivery by next Saturday at 4 pm, but then they let us know Friday they could move us up and we got the installation first thing in the morning. The brand selection along with a strong online presence are also noteworthy. Universal stands behind their sales and from what I've heard and experienced they make a lot of happy customers throughout LA and the surrounding counties. Also I heard they have opened a beautiful new showroom in Calabasas. Thank you Universal Appliance.
As several other of the 5 star reviews; I'm surprised by the lower rating for Universal. Their staff is one of the most professional and responsive teams I've seen when buying appliances. I've had the pleasure of ordering some appliances from Long and he along with some of the other sales persons are sensible, well rounded, and familiar with the appliance industry. The expert level of service I have received at Universal is top notch as it compares to other appliance stores.
This review is for my man Leon only. I believe he has moved to Calabasas branch. He is such a great sale person. He is very knowledgable, friendly and professional. I got a really good deal for my kitchen appliances. I bought Viking stove, Liebherr refrigerator and Bosch dishwasher. Leon could give me a better deal than the internet. That's really impressive. Before I walked into this place appliance shopping was a complete nightmare. I came here after visiting Lowes, Sears, Home Depot, Best Buy, and Pacific Sales. It was almost six which is when they close but Edward calmly answered all my questions and showed me a myriad of options in stock and on his computer monitor. Go to Universal and see Long Trinh! I had to write about my recent experience with Universal, and in particular with Long Trinh, store manager. I had ordered an AGA range that had gotten very delayed - no fault of Universal's. We had ordered all of our toilets and sinks from them and they had come in promptly. The range got delayed, and I was upset. Long was amazing to work with! His responsiveness and follow-through were totally impressive and very reassuring.
