FILED A CLAIM NOVEMBER 2019 AND HAVE BEEN FIGHTING THEM TO PAY FOR OVER A YEAR. THEY CLAIM THEY NEED A EOB FROM THE PRIMARY CARRIER. I HAVE SUBMITTED IT BY MAIL, FAX AND EMAIL. They are absolutely awful to work with in getting any issue resolved in a timely manner. I have had to call everyday for a week to get them to send a letter to my secondary insurance stating they're no longer covering me as of 10/31 and all I get is the run around. They keep saying how sorry they are for my frustration getting my issue resolved but nobody ever wants to do anything about it. They are all talk and no action.

I would give United Healthcare a negative 10 if I could. They have not paid for a claim for a routine test I had 1 1/2 years ago and have given both me and the diagnostic center the run around for months and months. I am going to file a formal complaint. It borders on criminality what this company does. Every one of my doctors as well as my diagnostic center have all said that this is typical behavior for United Healthcare and they hate dealing with them.

optumRX is horrible in both customer service and the time it takes to get medications. over the past 6 years, I have had them and then been switched to another company, and sadly my current insurance forces me to use OptumRx again. Every order is a nightmare. They will not allow me to fill at my local pharmacy, where I have zero problems. United Healthcare forced me to go through Optum Rx. It has been a horrible experience. They charge more than Costco. Probably United Healthcare gets kickbacks with this arrangement. It took forever to set up pharmacy delivery. Set up automatic delivery. They have messed up 2 of the 3 deliveries. The last delivery, they forgot to send out the prescription. Set a delivery date 2 months later than was suppose to be, They should not be allowed to be in healthcare business. Ron T.

I think this company is a scam and a waste of money. I signed up for healthcare through my employer after several years of not having coverage and I totally regret it. I would be better off to have paid all my medical expenses out of pocket. The coverage is all but useless, you still pay out of pocket for everything and the “estimates” from doctors and surgical centers is always much less than what you will pay in the end. This is the absolute worse insurance I ever had. My employer changed over from Blue Cross. And these guys is worse than bad. Just as well gave NO INSURANCE AT ALL.
