They are overcharging on insulin. Novilin they say is $20/ bottle but charge $180/bottle because it's not covered by UHC but if I have a Dr pre authorize it the cost will only be $48/bottle. Why not stick to the price the website said it was without being covered by my insurance $20/bottle. Diabetics need this insulin to survive and Novilin only cost $25-30/bottle at any other pharmacy. Why if I want to keep all my medications at one pharmacy should've gouged so much. I am recommending to UHC they choose a different pharmacy... read more

Had UHC since 5/1/20. Bought additional prescription coverage at same time. OptumRx, owned by UHC , decided on their own to send me my prescriptions in the mail, even though I didn’t order them. I get my RX from a local pharmacy. I have returned all meds to OptumRx via US mail. I have spent hours on the phone trying to get assistance. Customer service, will lie to you, put you on hold for hours, and finally hang up on you I called my local pharmacy yesterday to refill my prescriptions. I can not get 2 member submitted claims processed to be able to get more treatment. I jave been batteling with UMR for 4 months now. Everytime I call they tell me they are missing information or that it is sent for depriving. I have asked to speak to a supervisor several timea with no luck. Always told that they will call me back. After 3 months of dealing with this I asked to speak to a manager and was denied to speak to a manager. I sent in for a reimbursement and I have gotten the runaround every time I've called them they lied to me every time and tell me something different I'm not making this up I would never go with them ever again they don't want to pay for things that they're supposed to

They have been calling me for over a year asking for a lady I never heard of, who supposedly used to be a member and then chose to cancel insurance and they're trying to get her to sign up again. I have asked them repeatedly to put my number on a do not call list as I have never had anything to do with them, but they never do. They say they can't stop their advertising calls. They call almost every day - it's harassment. Do not ever give them your number unless you want to be harassed.

Can I give 0 stars?!?! I am prescribed a medication for a severe disease that I have had for 20 years. I am in remission but won’t be for long with these people. They refuse to fill my prescription after my doctor has personally sent the prescription to them and my other pharmacy, that I was forced by United healthcare to leave, transferred the prescription over from. United Healthcare refused to pay for my woman annually checkup and told me that the Hospital has put in a wrong charge code. I checked it with my medical clinic and they show me that they put in the general checkup code, which had been done in the past and no problem until I changed my health insurance to be UnitedHealthCare (due to change job). The rates go up and up, but the coverage goes down and down. Do yourselves and employees a favor and DO NOT USE THESE SCAM ARTISTS, They cover NO MEDICINE, NO TREATMENTS, and NO CURES. The only reason they get one star is because this system does not allow a zero star rating.

Warning: Check BBB reviews for UnitedHealth Care and notice they are 1 out 5 with over 197 reviews. So let that sink in before you think about hiring these thieves.
