I had a great experience, I am one of the world biggest chickens and have bad anxiety. Cancer is scary enough but They made me feel very comfortable from start to Finnish!!
Worst hospital ever if doctors don't know what's going on they give you the run around till it's too late and if you show signs your getting better they boot you out before you even know where you are I wouldn't recommend this hospital to anyone
My daughter was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma on December 29, 2016. Shocked and overwhelmed, many people asked and suggested for us to go to Boston's Children's Hospital for the treatments she would require and a second opinion. We ultimately decided to stay local and trust the great doctors right here in Worcester. I can't say enough about the care I received at Umass. From nurses to house cleaning 5 star all the way.
My wife was brought in for falling down stairs and was in extreme pain. The nurse handled her pain level right away and was consistent with her assessment throughout the visit. We were located in NH4 and although we were in hall, the nurse did a great job asking how my wife was. At the time of her release, the Dr. (who was not knowledgeable on CRPS) would do some reading up on this horrific disease. It felt to me she was serious and heart felt to learn.
