UHauls online system glitched while I was loaning out my truck. I was unable to verify the fuel and mileage. uhaul ended up charging me for 102 miles. I explained to them I only went 102 KM! Its been almost two months. The first employee agreed that he could account for **** miles. He sent it to the supervisor and the supervisor said no. I emailed him back and he never responded. I agree with others that I wish there were negative stars one could assign. The U-Haul Storage facility in ***********, ** is the poorest run commercial enterprise I have encountered in my 63 years on this earth. The **** system went out in late July and the temperature in the "climate controlled" facility hovered around 93 degrees for over 2 weeks. I was told there was a part on order to fix a broken **** unit, but because of Covid it might take awhile. I moved a bunch of the most fragile things out of the unit and asked fo... read more

Uhaul is a nightmare! They do not honour reservations when it comes to equipment or time of pickup. I showed up to pickup my truck at the schedule time and the key had not been "staged" for the 24/7 self pickup and was just told "sorry that happens sometimes" They promised me a 50$ rebate because I had a "reservation guarantee" on my booking. It has been over a month and I have not received this yet. I would give ZERO stars.

Unbelievably bad service and POOR online portal.I was charged a late fee AFTER setting up automatic payments.I'm not sure where my card information went, or why it was not saved, but if you have a storage rental unit DO NOT rely on their "automatic withdrawal" system. It does not work and you will find yourself with stuck with a late fee and no form of customer service for recourse. Local agency, ******* **, added $40 safe tow coverage without consent on a prepaid online order. As there is no physical receipt with the online check-in and email system, I believe this is a common practice. If i had not been reviewing my previous transactions online, I never would have caught a second transaction. Filed false charges claim with my bank to handle the refund process, as there was an over 25 minute wait on the company's line to discuss past rentals.

Today is August 16, 2021. I've been attempting to obtain a trailer hitch using their hitch warranty since May 12, 2021. I was told it might take awhile to get the product. Since that time an appointment was scheduled and emailed to me (I was told I'd be contacted by phone when the hitch came it). The date scheduled was Memorial Day. After a 40 minute wait on the phone I was told the hitch was not in. I also noticed online that the contract said the hitch had been installed and I needed wiring. NOT TRUE! I am seeking a response and action from the corporate headquarters. I ordered a 10ft truck on-line, Wednesday, June 30, 2021 for July *****, 2021.The gist of my extensive complaints is:1. After ordering the 10ft truck for said days above, I had to change the dates to Wednesday, July 28-Sunday, August 1. If I could give negative star rating I would. Reserved a truck a week ago for mobile checkin; got to the pick up location and it was closed; they had not activated the 24/7 mobile checkin; called uhaul; they sent us to different location; they were moving so slow we didn't even get waited on; cancelled the truck; scheduled moving help last week, but the charge would not complete; called a company and finally got a reservation; next day received confirmation that the charge that would not complete actually did complete and ch... read more

Absolutely horrible experience. Do not recommend at all!!! After paying over 2k to have my boxes moves and rent a truck, we gave a 24+ hour notice (per the contract) to have access to our boxes which the manager at the ******, ** said the messages dont go to him. Which on their website says it goes to facility manager. So our boxes werent ready and the staff was very reluctant to get my boxes out since they weren't easy to get out. But thats their job?!?!
