They have zero idea what the word reservation means. When I went online to their website and searched for the truck that I needed, it clearly stated that they had one for the dates I needed it, alright cool, I put in all the info to make the reservation, and thought all was alright. Well two days before the move I get a call from the store saying that they no longer have the truck, and the closest one available would be over 30 miles away, no car trailer available so I can't drive to pick it up. I would give zero stars if possible. I booked a truck 2 weeks before an out-of-state move Jul 30th. At about 3pm Jul 29th, Uhaul calls to tell me there are no trucks in my vicinity and I'd need to drive 120 miles to WI (from IA) to move to MN. What's more callous is the heartlessness of these people, no remorse whatsoever from the lady (****) who called me. We rented a Uhaul over three weeks ago to move our daughter to college TOMORROW. We just received a callless than 24 hours before we were to pick up the truckand were told they have no trucks available. Now we are scrambling to determine how we are going to move her. POOR customer service!! Never rent from **********************!

There was no ownership from the people I spoke to over the phone. One helped changed my reservation but misquoted me, next person told me someone will call back & obviously no one did and the third person transferred me back to the automated system. I wrote an email to online support, they emailed the ************ ** location and guess what happened. Nothing.

I had a reservation to pick up my truck for one way at the Loganville location, but they were not able to accommodate me according to the store ******** then scheduled me to have a one way truck at the ******* location and stated that I would not be charged for mileage. Reserved a storage unit a week before, when reached to pick up the key, was told no storage unit available and reservation does not work this way. This was particularly odd as the online system did not mention something like this and the location just gave away my storage unit. When called the helpline, no real help was offered. Worst experience by far. Would not recommend U-Haul ever.

I reluctantly reserved their largest truck with Uhaul to move our 3 bedroom home 245km in *******, Canada. 10 years ago I booked the same truck with them and on moving day the best they could give me was a 12 foot truck resulting in me making 3 trips using extra fuel time and mileage and they were unapologetic then as well. 1 year later my boss booked the same truck and was also screwed over on his moving day by Uhaul and given 12 ft truck again completely unapologetic, so I made sure this time to keep on top of the reservat... read more

23rd July, 2021 Here we go again, the third time around Booked a 10' truck in April.
