I had been a longtime customer of U-Haul, paying hundreds of dollars on multiple contracts over the years. Yet recently, when I went to pick up my U-Haul, which I'd reserved with no issues, I was alerted to call U-Haul because there was a problem with my reservation. I ordered a hitch and ball kit online through U-Haul on My 26, 2021. Between then and June 22, 2021 I attempted to contact U-Haul customer support on multiple occasions to figure out the delay issue. Do not use this business as they are deceptive in their charges. They charged me 1800 miles for a trip that was 900 miles and refused to issue a refund. They admitted the mileage from Plano to ***************, ** is only 900 miles but refused to correct their error.

Made a truck rental reservation over the phone, went to the place and they had NO truck. They said they'd have it at 2pm. Came back at 2pm, still no truck.This is the 2nd time this has happened. Letting these tiny local shops call themselves "********************" centers is the dumbest thing i have ever seen.Now my wife and I are stuck without any options, nor a place to stay.

***** ******** was very unprofessional regarding my rental and resolving billing issues . He made uhaul look bad as a whole by the way he handled my situation. I would not recommend this location to anyone, by all means call ahead of time and talk to management before committing to business with them. I find it appalling that u-haul thinks its ok to price ***** for their equipment during these difficult economic times. I need to move my belongings from ********* to ***** due to a job change. The mileage allowed is 1500 miles, way more than needed, and theyre charging $4288. That same exact truck would cost me $1700 to take it from ********* to ********, **.
