Called national 800 number and completed an order for a Ubox. Was told local office would call the day before to finalize delivery window. Never got a call or text. Day of scheduled delivery, we had to call and wait on hold for 20+ minutes to then be told we would not be receiving a box. I am convinced that we would have never known had we not called them. Uhaul left us completely stranded!! Terrible customer service!! Will not use them ever again!

I am highly disappointed and my kids have to suffer for there incompetence. I reserved a 20 foot truck more then a week out and thought I could just come and pick it up, was I in for a ride. It started when I got a call a day before picking it up by a lady running the ********** ** store. She told me my uhaul wouldnt be available for pick up at the location up the road and I would have to drive an hour to ********** to pick one up. Sad company locked into poor customer service based on a monopoly in several aspects of the moving rental business. I predict they will be going out of business soon as any business with this poor customer care can only stay in the market for so long...

I had a reservation for a 4'X7' trailer and was disappointed to discover that it was only 3'3" wide. Since it did not meet my needs, I needed to cancel the contract and spend additional time waiting in line to be served for a different trailer. U-Haul's misrepresentation of its trailer dimensions constitutes fraud and deceit. This policy of fraud needs to change.

Hello *******, I apologize you had an issue with the trailer size. The website does list the inside dimensions for that trailer as 7'8" x 3'4" (LxW). Also posted on uhaul.com is "All rental truck and trailer measurements are approximate. The equipment you receive *** vary in size, based on the engineering/design specifications of multiple-production models." I apologize again for any inconvenience this caused you.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Made a reservation online 10 days prior to needing to rent the equipment. The email confirmation stated I would receive a call from scheduling the following day by 6 pm. No call came. About a week before, I contacted the local place where I wanted to pick up the trailer. They had not received my request, but told me that was normal and not to worry I should get an email confirmation 24 hours before the pick up time. This company has acknowledge on speaker with a witness that despite a customer declining extra equipment with the rental truck, it will still charge for it. I had a 2 hour pickup truck rental to move a patio set from store to home. I purchased rope at the store. All these unsuspecting customers are paying for services/equipment never received. When would someone require boxes, moving pads, cushions or anything else when moving a small patio table and chairs.

Made THREE reservations with the guarantee that they had equipment on hand. Did not call, but hid behind app stating that equipment was only available 99 miles away, making us think it was a glitch, and then having an in person rep tell us we're SOL because she does not care, she supposedly doesn't have any trucks or trailers, despite a packed lot. UHaul is BBBs opportunity to Change Course Allowing for ************************************************** Buying and closing on a new home is such a joyful time DECIMATED ERADICATED OBLITERATED via multiple cancellations by our local branch, despite multiple confirmations. The company does not honor reservations. They leave customers in the lurch and should be forced to make their policy clear upon reservation. They canceled an order less than 12 hours before pick up, with nothing but an email at closing time so it could not be disputed. The following day (after the original reservation had passed) they tried to substitute a smaller truck that was over 3 hours away one way, with only a $100 discount.
