I had reserved 2 26ft trucks several weeks ago. Fearing the worst due to text from haul wanting me to drive 2 hours to pick up one of the two trucks, I called the location haul had sent where I would have picked up the two trucks. The gentleman on the other end said he had no idea why Uhaul said his location was where I was to pick them up. I rented a car dolly from U-Haul, And rented it for one day. I picked it up Saturday morning and returned it the same day at 1 PM. When I returned it the U-Haul employee help me disconnect the car dolly from my truck and told me I was good to go. The next day I received a late fee charge of $20 because they said I didnt return the U-Haul until Sunday morning, when I had actually returned it early Saturday afternoon.

I picked up a truck to use for my move to ********. Upon leaving, I noticed that most of the oil was on the ground, so I asked roadside assistance for help. I called multiple (20) times, and I was given an estimated arrival time of 120 minutes each time. My first call was around 7:30 pm PDT. I reserved a U Haul truck and Moving help using the U Haul website on approximately August 17, 2021 which was approximately two weeks prior to my move date of August 30, 2021. Terrible I checked in on line 3 weeks ago was charged and now 3 weeks later they charged me again. I called and had to stay on hold for ************************************************************** 3 business days and then god only knows when Ill get my money back. This should not have been an issue. I will never rent from them again.

They changed our guaranteed reservation location and size of vehicle less than 24 hours before pick up time. Not only did they change the location, it was like a half hour further away. And we were guaranteed a 15' truck and they switched it to a 26' truck. We told them we needed smaller and closer and they told us that we had to take that truck or cancel. We cancelled. Just overall a very poor experience. We will use Penske from now on. They broke a guaranteed contract.

This charge is UNACCEPTABLE and nearly DOUBLE THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT I WAS QUOTED.I decided to rent this truck with the assumption it would be cheaper to move the furniture myself rather than hire someone. It turns out the charge was MORE, AND I had to do the heavy lifting myself. Your fees are extremely misleading, which makes it impossible for the consumer to make well informed decisions.
