The customer service representative at the Grand Junction location was helpful and sympathetic to our situation. Uhaul as a large corporation, and Michael (the head of traffic) were not. I/we won't be using Uhaul again, and we will encourage others to use a different company. We had a 20 foot truck reserved for pick up in Glenwood Springs, CO on 5/29/21 and received a call 30 minutes prior to our pick up time that the truck had not yet been returned so would not be there for us to use. Sunday May 23rd Employee Derek at Uhaul 3001 Capitol Blvd Raleigh NC 27604. My father (65 year old) was disrespected and was refused service by this employee. We arrived at 8:30am at the location to return a car dolly since my father moved from Florida, after arriving we noticed this location opened at 9am which we patiently waited. 9am the location opens which my father says good morning to Derek which he does not even respond to and we are 1st in line. UHaul provided the poorest customer service I have ever experienced with any company. I had reserved a truck and the late afternoon before I was to pick it up, I received a call that the truck was not available at the location at which I had placed a reservation. I was told I could pick one up at another location about 20 minutes further. I had already lined up professional movers to load the truck that day and to unload on the other end. DISCRIMINATION FALSE ADVERTISEMENT I have went online and reserved a auto tow trailer with U-Haul previously without any issues. I have a small tractor that I transport every now and then. SMALL TRACTOR that weighs much less than any auto! On the U-Haul website, there are forms to fill out for tow vehicle, hitch type, capabilities as well as information on what you are towing. U Haul is a terrible place to rent anything from. I paid for a trailor rental for one day and returned it 3 hours later than scheduled. They ended up charging me another whole day. People act like things don’t come up or we don’t have problems. They take complete advantage of that. I will not ever do business with them again nor refer anyone to them. Worst company ever!

It all started last weekend I rented a truck was confirmed went to pick up truck I was 15 minutes late, he refused to give ups the truck then the middle of the week I was told it was canceledafter calling and waiting and waiting bit phone calls 30 minutes wait til to tell me they were booked unacceptable then reviewed another email it was again canceled what is going on, apparently your website is not up to par to make reservations people were double booking trucks so they cancelled account and reservations so I’m at a 2 wee... read more

Absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I had my truck booked 2 months in advance, the day before I was suppose to pick up the truck and 2 minutes before uhaul closed for the day I received a text saying my order had been cancelled and I would not receive a truck. When I tried to call and ask why the customer service reps and the manager screened my call and hung up on me multiple times. When asked why they canceled my order with less than 24 hr notice the response was “that’s just how we do business.” Absolut... read more

The actual worst establishment I've ever seen. I made a reservation over a week ago just to have them tell me that they didn't have the truck and nothing they could do. I asked for compensation and they said call the 1-800 number and wait over an hour. Refused to help me in any way. What a trash experience and I will be steering everyone I know away from this disgusting establishment.

I hired uhaul to ship 2 ubixes from Peoria, Arizona to their facility at Chamblee, Georgia. As arranged, my boxes were loaded and picked up on April 27, 2921. They were to arrive onMay 12, 2021. When I called Chamblee on May 12 I was told they were not here and they didn't know where they were.
