Went ot the location on king George highway. And the service, and the lies employees told to get our business matches the the scumbags in that area. Lied to us about we only charge for 24 hrs so we booked for 1pm to 1pm, and they caused such a hassle rude to us. I was trying to make a reservation this morning for 199 dollars and I was not able to secure tge rental. I try to submit my reservation this afternoon noon and the price was 302 dollars. I not sure how uhual justifies this price hike. I looks like they are trying to steal and overcharge people. This scam needs to be address. They are taking advantage of people.

I rented a uhaul 10ft box truck and a car-carrier in Tulsa OK to bring my son's Toyota 4-runner back to Denver. I asked repeatedly in Tulsa if this truck could pull that trailer with a 4-runner on the highway. I was told with a smile "just keep it under 100mph" Well, first the truck only had 1/4 tank of gas, so first stop was a filling station. This company is a disaster. I made a reservation for self-storage a month in advance. At the day I came to take the place, they told me they don't have it. And send me to a next U-Haul location 10 miles away, confirming that another location has 25 units available. I had planned a move from Washington to Michigan and scheduled a trailer two weeks in advance from my move. I received a schedule confirmation via email from U-Haul. The day prior to pick-up I called U-Haul to confirm the pick up location and time. When I called the U-Haul in Kent, WA the representative informed me that there were no trailers available. They sent our uhaul boxes to the wrong storage center. Cost us $2,500 to ship it to the correct location. They never told me the place I was moving to didn't do uhaul boxes. Had to rent a truck unload our boxes into the uhaul truck. Then unload the uhaul truck at our new house. All more expenses. I asked the rep what I did wrong when I placed the order. I booked and paid for a hitch install online. Was contacted by staff and left a message stating I was double booked and the parts were not in stock. After 1.5 hours on the phone with multiple staff (including one that refused to let me speak to a supervisor) attempting to get a refund, a supervisor said the parts were in stock and they could do the install after all. On May 5, 2021, I rented a 15 foot truck at a Reno/Sparks location (reservation # ********) which was the largest truck available. The truck was to be driven from Reno/Sparks to my home in Morgan Hill, loaded and then driven to Missouri (no trucks were available anywhere in CA for a one-way move). I was told the week prior that they wouldn't have the truck I needed until the day after I requested it, so I changed plans with the movers to accommodate this.
