Do not use this business as they are deceptive in their charges. They charged me 1800 miles for a trip that was 900 miles and refused to issue a refund. They admitted the mileage from Plano to ***************, ** is only 900 miles but refused to correct their error.

I ordered a hitch and ball kit online through U-Haul on My 26, 2021. Between then and June 22, 2021 I attempted to contact U-Haul customer support on multiple occasions to figure out the delay issue. I spoke to several people and was transferred to several more that could not help me just to transfer me to ******* agent that had the same reply. *** also responded to delay emails requesting a supervisor to contact me, submitted multiple feedback reviews to U-Haul trying to get help. Made a truck rental reservation over the phone, went to the place and they had NO truck. They said they'd have it at 2pm. Came back at 2pm, still no truck.This is the 2nd time this has happened. Letting these tiny local shops call themselves "********************" centers is the dumbest thing i have ever seen.Now my wife and I are stuck without any options, nor a place to stay.

***** ******** was very unprofessional regarding my rental and resolving billing issues . He made uhaul look bad as a whole by the way he handled my situation. I would not recommend this location to anyone, by all means call ahead of time and talk to management before committing to business with them. I will not be giving this location any business moving forward until I receive an apology, which I doubt will happen since I spoke to his marketing manager and the guy downplayed my complaint , excusing calebs actions *** attit... read more

I rented 8 U-Boxes, the quote I was given was $1,000 less than the final price for transportation. I was told not to reserve transportation until it was time to transport. When I called to schedule transportation I was told there was no record of my previous call or quote and they would not honor the price I was given. Then I was told the location where my Ub-boxes were being shipped does not have a truck to get the U-Boxes to my house and I need to unload each U-box at their facility and transport my belongings to my house,... read more

I find it appalling that u-haul thinks its ok to price ***** for their equipment during these difficult economic times. I need to move my belongings from ********* to ***** due to a job change. The mileage allowed is 1500 miles, way more than needed, and theyre charging $4288. That same exact truck would cost me $1700 to take it from ********* to ********, **. It allows 2 extra days and nearly 2400 miles! Please explain to me how its my problem that they have too many trucks in *****. Its not!! As a consumer, I expect to pay... read more

Buyers Beware: I order a ubox approximately 3 weeks prior to needing it. The date needed for the box was June 10th. The box was never delivered and I spoke with the Brandon the manager at the Uhaul located 2902 Hershberger Rd NW, Roanoke, VA 24017. Brandon didn't know why it wasn't delivered. The location to the box was changed and he advised it would be delivered to the new site June 14th. I organized 10 volunteers and two loaded vehicles. My complaint relates to the complaint filed by ***** E below. I too have rented several 6x12 trailers from U-haul. Last week I rented one going from ************ to North Carolina. This same trailer has usually always cost me ~$255-300. This time it was $1,300! Like the complaint below, I called U-Haul and received the same excuse that there are shortfalls of trailers in the north and the price is the price.
