There was no ownership from the people I spoke to over the phone. One helped changed my reservation but misquoted me, next person told me someone will call back & obviously no one did and the third person transferred me back to the automated system. I wrote an email to online support, they emailed the ************ ** location and guess what happened. Nothing.

Terrible terrible terrible company process and custome service.Placed an online order on May 17 for a hitch kit, I thought that I could attached it to my SUV and bring my kids to have a wonderful vacation, but I was wrong. Today is Jul 27, I still did not recevie the hitch kit. I had a reservation to pick up my truck for one way at the Loganville location, but they were not able to accommodate me according to the store ******** then scheduled me to have a one way truck at the ******* location and stated that I would not be charged for mileage. Once I arrived at the ******************* Location the ** told us that they were to have a truck returned at 930 and it had not got back so they would not be able to assist with a one way truck. Reserved a storage unit a week before, when reached to pick up the key, was told no storage unit available and reservation does not work this way. This was particularly odd as the online system did not mention something like this and the location just gave away my storage unit. When called the helpline, no real help was offered. Worst experience by far. Would not recommend U-Haul ever.

23rd July, 2021 Here we go again, the third time around Booked a 10' truck in April. Was told that the company would call the day before to advise me on where in the metro area I would need to pick up the truck Changed the order to a 15' truck and got the same instructions.Was called at noon (July 23rd) and told to pick ** the truck in Quincy.Was called again at 4:45 PM to be told that the 15' was no longer available and I could have a 10' with trailer. I reluctantly reserved their largest truck with Uhaul to move our 3 bedroom home 245km in *******, Canada. 10 years ago I booked the same truck with them and on moving day the best they could give me was a 12 foot truck resulting in me making 3 trips using extra fuel time and mileage and they were unapologetic then as well. 1 year later my boss booked the same truck and was also screwed over on his moving day by Uhaul and given 12 ft truck again completely unapologetic, so I made sure this time to keep on top of the reservat... read more

I was excited to order 2 u-boxes and moving support for an elderly relative's move ******** pack up and unloading). Regrettably, I ran into problems with the interface between U-haul, Moving Helpers, the local U Haul site and the moving company U-Haul contracted for my move in Georgia.I have spent 8 1/2 hours on the phone over 2 days to try to resolve the problems in obtaining my boxes in Georgia as ordered. NIGHTMARE! My truck reservation was lost. On the morning of the move, we were told that there wasn't a 26 ft. truck available in my town despite the reservation. We went through 2 frantic hours trying to locate one and somehow get it to my home before the movers were scheduled to show up to load it. As for the unused moving supplies, those can be returned to a U-Haul Center with the original receipt, if they were not part of a bundle (a bundle can be returned but all items within it must be returned). Uhaul is a shady business they always charge my bank account for deposits after returning the uhaul in good condition. These people fraudulently hit my bank account multiple times. I will no longer use this crooked as company.
