I am 69 years old and dealing with Tuff Shed was the absolute worse customer experience I have ever had. I purchased my garage on July 28, 2020 and paid in full up front almost $11,000. I had to do all the permitting myself with no help from Tuff Shed at all. So this means survey,site plan, blueprints, foundation engineering plans etc. I had to obtain and provide to the Homeowners Association, Township and County for the necessary permit approvals. I had my shed installed in may 2020. Have issues with my door adjustment. Been working on this for over a month. It’s either weather, find a good date or no show. Today I was told it would be fixed today. Around 4:30 I’m called and told the couldn’t get in contact with contractor. Lost all faith in what I’m told.

Buyer beware. The sales department was very nice and professional however after they take your money you are on your own. Very disappointed in the building department. The first time they came out they had rotten wood they were trying to put up. We said no we are not paying over $8,000 for rotten wood. So they took it back then the next Saturday they were suppose to come out and never showed. 12/29/2020... Do not use Tuff Shed. It took 12 weeks to get my storage unit. I had to pay up front in full with upgrades. Building arrived without treated floor upgrade. Contractor was advised prior to construction of the problem. I was unable to contact tuff shed by phone, text and email. The contractor constructed the shed with untreated flooring and the contractors refused to stop the construction. Not surprised to find an average of 1.28/5 stars here, maybe I should start screening companies on the BBB before doing business. I bought a tuff shed and when they were starting the install I showed them the other tuff shed that's installed on my property, same size, on the same concrete pad with the same slope (for drainage), told them to do it just like that one--can't get any easier. 9 weeks still waiting for delivery of prebuilt shed. Absolute no communication from the company. Disappointed. Wish I read these reviews before buying. Also disappointed in Home Depot allowing this company to continued to be a part of Home Depot.

I purchased my shed several years ago from Tuff Shed in Orlando Fl. At the time of purchase I relayed my concern about the problems with the soft ground and the chances of the shed settling. I was assured that their method the use to tie the shed down the settling would not be a problem. About a year later the shed shifted so they had to come out and reposition the shed. Same experience, my original install date was changed over 4 times (this is my vacation home, so each time I had traveled 300+ miles to be there for the install), they gave me different reasons each time, "the installer forgot some parts of the shed and have to go back to the warehouse" later that day "our truck broke down, we won't be able to make it today", etc. What makes me more angry is that I never get a call letting me know that they will not be showing up. I agree with previous customers - there should be minus stars for review. This has been, and continues to be, an atrocious experience. After many weeks of delay our shed was finally installed, however, the two men came at the end of the day so it got dark. They left it with no doors, no anchors, missing shingles, and a damaged vent. They said they would return the next day. They did not. A major storm was coming, so we had to go out and buy a tarp to cover the opening where the doors should have been.
