I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! I leave a single star rating only because I cannot leave a zero star comment. I purchased a two story building, to turn into a small home,for my mom, on August 24, 2020, to be built in November 2020. I paid for it up front. They have still yet to even begin to work on it. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a company. The building is crap, the install of the crap building was terrible. I had to hire another company to come fix the garage door they provided. They don’t communicate at all once they get your money. I paid in full in September and it didn’t get installed until April of the following year. I bought it before Covid and they told me it would be installed in 6 weeks. I do not recommend this company. 1. website ran so slow I had to go to a business I knew in the middle of the night to get it to load fast enough. 2. After that it started out good. Then because of Covid it is taking the health department and the county time to process everything and it has to be done phone or email so it has taken me a week and 1/2 to get my documents and I emailed the representative and she never got back with me so her boss emailed me wanting to know what the problem was and I told her I am working on it ... read more
Darren (DJ) in Milwaukee was friendly and knowledgeable. He kept the ball rolling on our garage. Incredibly fast turnaround and most reasonable pricing around. Friendly building crew. Very happy with our new garage.
My grandfather purchased a $6,000 shed in December of 2020. Install was set for March, Tuff Shed rescheduled 7 times. My grandfather is a truck driver and taking off work to be home cost him a lot of money. Install was rescheduled for today, May 17, 2021 and they did not show up nor call to say they couldn’t install.
Do yourself a favor and don't use Tuff Shed. Just get a local company. I bought a shed from them 10 weeks ago and we are not even in the first stages of the process. I have been reminding them what to do every step of the way. They were only efficient to collect the first payment. After that, I had to remind them to do the paperwork for the permit, which they did wrong. I was told 3-5 weeks for delivery after buying a display, its now 7 weeks and no shed. I call joseph n******* and he sends me numbers for the factory. I try calling the factory and cannot reach any one. One of the numbers is disconnected. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Pay the extra money and get your shed from someone local. Very unsatisfactory company!
I purchased a Tuff Shed. DO NOT DO IT. You can get the same thing cheaper at The Home Depot. You can find better brands and better quality for less. I purchased a Tuff Shed directly from Tuff Shed, and saw a bigger one, same style for $600 less the same day mine was installed. The manager spoke to me like I was a child, and would not refund me the difference. He was very quick to say no about that.. But he assured me he would talk to his sales person. I should not be paying for your salespersons mistakes. TERRIBLE>
They have now canceled my install date FOUR times over the past two months. For over a week, I have repeatedly tried calling them and emailing them to get a new install date and I get no response. I even tried contacting their customer care email address multiple times and get no response. I can't believe any business would treat any of their customers like this and its not like my project is a small job.
