Booked a stay that was covered 100% by points an ended up with a charge on my credit card. Completely unacceptable.

Had a one night stay here, it was a nightmare. Had bad severe allergies. Couldn’t understand why as I got in that room. Come to find it it’s pet friendly for a $100. Shouldn’t place respect ppl who have allergies. No they assume everyone should tolerate pet dandruff and the worse thing the window couldn’t even crack. Very nasty.

I visited Courtyard by Marriott Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport in June 2022 by myself and encountered an extremely rude loud obnoxious white female employee with blonde hair at the front desk. She spoke to me as if I were a child, raised her voice to me, and was very condescending to me. I asked her why she was yelling at me and her excuse was that she was "wearing a mask" but that doesn't excuse her rudeness and sarcasm towards me. After we moved to charleston we found ourselves at the towneplace suites by Marriott in North Charleston for 6 days before our apartment was available. Day 5 of our stay my girlfriend and I began to notice bumps on our skin, by the next morning(day I checked out) I was completely covered while my girlfriend was also having a reaction while working as nurse at the hospital, I contacted my dermatologist and it was determined via photos we had bed bugs. I had 6 certificates for nights to use at a Marriott. They were to expire June 30, 2022. We booked a Marriott in Miami to arrive June 23 and departing June 29, 2022. About 3 days before leaving I contracted COVID, along with my family as well. So I felt the right thing to do was cancel the trip figuring why expose others to COVID, figuring Marriott would work with me and extend the certificates a month or two.. Well, I figured wrong. My Marriott Bonvoy membership free nights expired (let’s just call them canceled) my 3 free nights without so much as an email or a call. When I tried to use them before they expired, the “dates were unavailable for point use.” However, there were still open rooms for purchase during our requested stay. Desk representatives are rude and disrespectful. We were promised a government rate with our government I’d’s. Once we arrived, we were told the rate we were promised is now 14 dollars a night more. When asked why, they said we didn’t have a work order. Then we questioned why we were promised one thing and then told another. Then another lady came up and we went through it all over again and then she came back and said the rate for the room would now be 49 dollars more than we were promised. Finishing stay at Fairfield Inn in Woburn, Mass. Just ridiculous. First the toilet didn't work when we arrived wouldn't flush. Requested help several times and had to fix myself. Stayed here 5 days and no room cleaned or towels replaced. Finally got some today. Staff seemed put out. Last night a person didn't show up for their shift and several new people had no one here to check them in. Hotel is dirty. Hey this morning got a call asking why were were still here. Reserved room a couple weeks before my trip. They will put a hold on your purchase 48 hours before you get there so you can't get you money back. I arrived the day of my stay earlier than the check in time, and was told that the rooms were not ready, come back in a couple of hours.
