Dr. Atkinson and the entire staff were a pleasure to deal with and they really cared about me. I had a shoulder repair with exceptional results. The PT department was extremely helpful with my recovery and they were fun to be with. From check-in to check-out is a pleasurable experience. Dr. Atkinson does done surgery on both of my thumbs and repaired both torn meniscus on my left knee. Currently seeing him for both meniscus tears.in my right knee. He is gentle, takes time answering patients questions, very thorough. I will not go to any other ortho.
I had knee and shoulder total replacement last year. Great results. Very pleased. Highly recommend.
Dr. Atkinson did a reverse shoulder on my left shoulder. Within two months it was close to back to normal. At 3 months I had 95% range of motion compared to other arm. Strength coming back. Started to lift weights, swing a golf club, and swim again. Had 23 staples after surgery and now can hardly see a scar. He has great therapists to work with you. I would highly recommend him for shoulder surgery. I was extremely pleased with my outcome.
Dr. Atkinson was recommended to me after doing therapy for 5 months, for my left shoulder. The best decision I ever made was to have the surgery on my shoulder. I'm able to move my arm like I had not done in about 3 years. They have a great staff and wonderful therapist. I would truly recommend Dr. Atkinson.
Very reassuring, kind and professional staff and Doctor. Responsive to needs for times and dates and has two locations also for convenience. No nonsense, down to earth caring top notch medical attention. Physical Therapy locations at each office. Efficient X-rays taken in the office and efficient appointment scheduling so very little waiting. Offers an outpatient total shoulder replacement option done in-hospital with great 3 week home PT before 2x a week in office PT. Highly recommend this practice and Dr. Atkinson.
Dr. Atkinson has been our Dr. for many, many years! He's very thorough, and he takes your care seriously. He is one of the best Orthopedic Dr's in this area. His office staff and Rehab therapists are well trained and very professional.
I had total shoulder replacement on my left shoulder. Dr, Atkinson done a wonderful job I am finally able to use it without pain. I never had any pain after surgery. I think he is very caring. I also love his PT staff they are fantastic .Office staff is also great. HIGHLY recommend him.
Best experience I have ever had with surgery. Dr. Atkinson is an amazing human being and a great surgeon. Not only is he the best at what he does, but his caring and kind disposition makes you feel like you are his only patient and that he is there just to take care of you. The office staff are sharp and on top of insurance and scheduling. The office is immaculate! Would recommend to anyone!!!!!
