Dr. Atkinson changed my life by taking away the pain in my knee. With his excellent skills, credentials and experience, he showed me genuine compassion and empathy. Very friendly both doctor and staff. Visits were either on time or early if able to accommodate. I have had both shoulder and knee surgery over the years by him. He has been a blessing to getting rid of my pain. Even took my 86 year old neighbor to him for shoulder replacement. Everyone astounded by her recovery.

He performed shoulder surgery and restored my shoulder mobility to full function. He isn’t very talkative but he explained what he needed to do, what he found and gave me full use of my arm. He is outstanding in his field of knowledge and ability to restore movement. If you can rate on four stars I would give him a five star rating. Totally impressed and almost no scar.

Dr. Atkinson is a Rock Star in my book. On my first visit to the doctor, I was with a truly knowledgeable person who took the time to ask me questions, answer my questions and explain the options. I had a complete reverse right shoulder replacement four months ago. After surgery I used the physical therapy personnel (PT) in his office complex. Between Dr. Atkinson doing a fabulous job and the PT group I am doing very well. My range of motion is almost 95%.

I have only the highest regard for Doctor Atkinson. I think about the first time I met him and the time he took to explain what the problem was with my shoulder and to explain all the options and what he felt was the best way to proceed. He was patient with my wife and me and took the time to address all our concerns and answer all our questions. Dr. Atkinson and his team are absolutely first rate! I had a badly degenerative shoulder with torn rotator cuff, torn attachment of the biceps tendon, bone spurs and arthritis throughout the joint. The surgery went beautifully with a nice, clean scar and no complications. Post-op follow-ups and physical therapy quickly got me back to using the shoulder with full range of motion and very little pain.
