I needed a total hip replacement. I have an irregular heart beat and the first orthopedic surgeon refused to operate on me. Dr Atkinson saw how much pain I was in and agreed to give me a new hip once I got a clearance form my cardiologist. The surgery went well. After one month of PT I was back to normal. I have no pain or restrictions. Dr Atkinson is the best.

I have spent the last 3 years with other specialists that have only given me steroid shots until Dr. Atkinson did an MRI and found I had a torn meniscus. Thankfully he operated and my pain is gone. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of an Orthopedic specialist.

I went to Dr. Atkinson based on a recommendation from an acquaintance. The Doctor was courteous, polite and professional. I needed a shoulder replacement. Dr.Atkinson explained the procedure in terms, the average person would understand. The surgery worked great, I was operated on March 30 and by July 17, I was playing golf. The doctor is supported by a great staff. This staff includes the physical therapy unit in the same office. I chose Dr Atkinson after looking on line at his great reviews! I was not disappointed! I had a meniscus tear and arthritis that was giving me much pain. I trusted Dr A to go ahead with the surgery. I was planning on good results. I started physical therapy the very next day. It now is three months later and I am free of pain and can start my power walking again! I am 80 years young and am so happy with my results! Thank you Dr Atkinson! You are the best!

After putting off , for over a year, an unrepairable rotator cuff tears, Dr. Atkinson performed the recommended reverse shoulder replacement. Post op I experienced no pain, only slight discomfort for a few days. Dr. Atkinson along with his office staff, surgi center team and PT were beyond my expectations with care and compassion. I’m sure there are other Surgeon’s that do rotator cuff surgery. And they might be ok. But if you want a exceptionally great one. Then call Dr Todd Atkinson. I needed my left arm repaired for years. The pain finally got so bad I couldn’t wait any longer. He keeps appointment times very close. As I had never had any work done I was beyond nervous. - I Was referred to Dr Atkinson by my PCP. - The doctor reviewed the right shoulder Xray and reviewed the shoulder replacement procedure and expected outcome explained- Shoulder replaced and in home therapy very soon after. - Pain was intense after the block wore off for about 2 days.- Medication to manage pain.
