I have complete faith in Dr. Atkinson as a surgeon and as is honest and caring human being. He is humble and kind and never "oversells" what he can do. I have no reservations in recommending Dr. Atkinson. His receptionists, nurses, physical therapists and the entire staff are all kind, helpful and friendly. I don't look forward to drs. appointments, but going to his office is an exception.

Dr. Atkinson did surgery on my right shoulder (rotator repair) couple of months ago, before the surgery I was in constant pain, not even able to comb my hair. Dr. Atkinson explain the procedure, physical therapy and what was expected of me for the surgery to be successful, I follow his instructions and I'm very happy with the result. Dr. Atkinson and his team are awesome!!!

I highly recommend Dr Atkinson ! I had a shoulder repair a year ago in January, I couldn't move my right arm, no strength at all, now I have full use and strength. Last October I had a total knee replacement and at 69 I thought I would never be back to normal. 4 months later I can climb stairs, walk a mile and play with my grandchildren. The office staff are very friendly and you can tell it's not just their job, they really care about you. I can't express enough what they have done for me.

I had a total shoulder replacement. I have been very pleased with the results. At 16 weeks after the surgery I am back doing most of my normal activity. There is still a little weakness in the muscles but I have full range of motion. I have followed my physical therapy and done my "homework" every day. I have been very pleased with the results of my recovery. I'm back to playing golf and all of my other sports activity.

I tore my bicep tendon completely and it retracted into my upper arm. My family doctor sent me to Dr. Atkinson who got me into surgery in a short time. He repaired the muscle. It's been four months and I am as good as new. He and his staff could not have been more accommodating. I believe that I could not have gotten better treatment anywhere. Martin Griffin

In 2009, I had a torn biceps tendon and Dr. Atkinson did a wonderful job making the repair. I was 74 at that time. Last fall, I tore my rotator cuff probably due to my active swimming routine. I again selected Dr. Atkinson to do the surgery and was very pleased with the outcome. I am an active 83 year old and wanted to continue swimming and thankfully I will be able to do that. I was also very pleased with their physical therapy program. Frederic Smith

There are two major parts to getting through knee replacement and being able to walk and run without pain. First is how the surgeon did. Dr. Todd Atkinson did my knee surgery on April 13, 2018. He did an excellent job since I can now run, walk and play tennis without pain. The second major part is the physical therapy received. Sherese Mowry, Physical Therapist adjusted her schedule and provided physical therapy every day during the second week. This was crucial to my success

By the time I found out about Dr. Atkinson, I was in a lot of pain and already Had surgery. My shoulder was a mess. My prior experience with surgery in February was not a good one. Dr. Atkinson listened to me and heard what I was saying. He was very caring. He explained the surgery I needed. He also put me at ease about having surgery again. He is professional. I had a peaceful surgery and am already feeling better. I’m so thankful Dr. Todd was referred to me. He is a keeper. Wonderful doctor.
