Previously, I had Dr. Atkinson repair a torn biceps tendon, then a torn rotator cuff both on my right shoulder. When it came time to replace my left hip, I had no qualms having Dr. Atkinson perform this surgery this past July. The surgery went well considering that I am 84 years old. The follow-up in home therapy with Drs. Choice was also excellent. Dr. Atkinson is an excellent surgeon and I recommend him highly.
I can't say enough good things about Dr. Atkinson. He was able to focus in on my shoulder problem and figure out the best way to deal with the issues in a way that allowed me to recover faster and return to my normal routine as quickly as possible. He cleaned up my spurs and some arthritious and I can now function without the pain that I was experiencing before. I saw Dr. Atkinson for two very serious orthopedic issues this year: repair of left shoulder rotator cuff & right arm, broken humerus with radial nerve damage. Dr. Atkinson has been my orthopedic doctor since 2012. In 2012 he performed a repair of my right rotator cuff, which turned out great. I have no pain and have total movement of my right shoulder. In April of 2019 Dr. Atkinson performed a total knee replacement of my right knee. It has been 6 months since the knee replacement. I have no pain and have total movement of my right knee. Had a total knee replacement surgery and was a very pleased with my overall experience with Dr Atkinson and his entire staff. No complications and had a very good experience with his Physical Therapy staff. They had me fully recovered unjust a few weeks. Never had to wait more than 5 minutes on any appointments and the staff were professional, very friendly and courteous. I plan return to have my other worn out knee replaced with Dr Atkinson. I highly recommend his services.

Dr. Todd Atkinson performed a left knee arthroscopic surgery on me in March 2019 and also some arthritis. From the moment I had my first appointment with him in his Ft. Myers office, I was impressed and was treated with respect and professionalism from the front desk. February 2019 I had shoulder surgery. Dr. Atkinson and his staff was very caring and professional. His expertise performing the surgery was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend him! A great big thank you to the Therapy staff for your help in my healing process.
Should surgery Jan 2109. 6 months later I am very pleased with results. Dt. Atkinson did a great job explaining procedure, risks, and expected results. The staff at his therapy office were outstanding and extremely productive in my healing. I did have some issues with the billing department and their incorrect coding with my insurance and delayed updating of insurance payments. Overall, medical staff and therapy was excellent and I would highly recommend Dr. Atkinson.
