When one is in pain, especially when it involves walking in pain all the time, what is needed is an amazing doctor to provide a cure. What constitutes an incredible doctor? Some have great bedside manners. Others are knowledgeable and experienced. A few have pedigrees that come from Ivy League schools. Dealing with a lingering shoulder injury, I researched the Cape Coral/Ft. Myer's area for expert MD in shoulder surgery. When I found Todd Atkinson, I immediately scheduled an appointment. His staff is extremely professional and thorough, finance team was looking out for me (had new insurance and they counseled me to avoid any billing/coverage issues). If you have shoulder pain Dr. Atkinson is your Choice. I’ve had multiple surgeries (16) and my Bicep and rotator repair has been flawless! His surgical team, physical therapist team, nursing staff and office administrators have been incredibly helpful.I highly recommend Dr. Atkinson
Dr. Atkinson is most competent and most caring. He listens and explains. He has a gracious, professional staff and has engaged outstanding follow up physical therapists to guide you through the next stages of recovery. He is an exceptional physician.
Excellent orthopedic surgeon! Repaired a tear in my knee and two days later I'm walking, have no swelling, and can barely see the incisions. Have had two previous knee surgeries that had very different outcomes. Would recommend Dr. Atkinson with absolutely no hesitation to anyone.
Before I met Dr. Atkinson I was in serious shoulder pain. I had no desire to do my usual activities. Following shoulder surgery I had no more pain, I was able to resume my usual activities of playing golf, dancing and walking. I had no discomfort since the surgery and have never required any type of pain medication. Dr. Atkinson is a highly skilled and caring physician whom I would highly recommend. I had shoulder surgery performed by Dr. Todd Atkinson and all I can say is that he is GREAT! I just took my wife to him for her knee. Truly cares about his patients and has a great personality and bedside manner.
Amazing is the word. Above average skills. My journey began four decades ago, when I apparently damaged my shoulder fire fighting... but no pain, no problem... in 2002 a doctor, then, simply gave me a exercise sheet.
