I have never in my career dealt with such a nightmare of company. The alleged services that they provide have zero value. That is if they provide any service at all. They are also master Manipulators with fine print in contracts always working in their favor, but providing nothing to their clients. We signed up with Dexyp in March. In April we had a session to train us and get things going. Shortly thereafter we got an email announcing 200 new features being added at no additional cost to the Thryv system. Immediately thereafter, our system crashed. Our email contacts were lost, website disappeared from our site, we were no longer able to edit anything on our website and nothing worked. Sales guy talks a good game, but nothing happens. After 5 weeks, we still are not able to edit anything on OUR OWN WEBSITE!!! This app... read more

If it would be possible to rate this company 1 star, I would. This has been the most negative experience. As you can see, by the 112 negative comments and the 1,589 customer complaints, Dex YP is AWFUL at caring for their customers. I've been trying to get our digital rep to email us back for 4 weeks and have had no response. It took them 3 months to update a photo we requested on our paid Facebook ads. They published an extremely poor quality advertising video that we specifically told them not to. It's still available to v... read more

We spoke with client and helped resolve all of their issues for their digital program and remove the requested landing page. We were able to get the reports pulled and they sent to our client. Don't fall into their trap. They promise you the world and it sounds too good to be true- therefore it is. We are going on over a month since we have had the ability to edit our website. Whenever you ask your rep a question, it's always "I'll check on that for you!" and they never do nor ever get back to you. DO NOT sign the contract with them, unless you're prepared to waste thousands of dollars like our company is.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This is a horrible company to do business with. They are helpful until you get signed up and then they never fulfill their promises and make it impossible to cancel your service. DO NOT sign up with Dex!

After reading all of the reviews on here, I notice one thing. We all have the same issue. Prior to joining this small business, there were promises made by *** but never any follow through. My boss has had issues with his ads in the phone book messed up etc. After they fixed that he decided he would work with them. He had one point of contact that he met in person that promised him free ads in the yellow pages if he upgraded with Thryve. He was a trusting person, and they never followed through. This company is horrible! First of all, they increased my monthly rate without notifying me in advance so I called to cancel. I was told that I can't cancel because the directory is already printed. However, they did not notify me in advance to give me the opportunity to opt out. They just automatically renew your account and increase your payment without any authorization. This company is a SCAM!

We have spoken to our client and advised that at the time that they had requested to cancel the book was already printed and distributed. Our company has been located in the same building and same street for over 70 years. We have used YP directory services for many years. This year they published the directory with a phone number that does not even belong to us. They were contacted in writing to close the account however, we still receive bills. I made a second attempt and called them to tell them the information was incorrect, we wanted to close the account and should not have to pay for their error. Wow... so unimpressed by DexMedia/ DexYP. We were out of the yellow pages world for 8 years or so and wanted to get back into it. Our account rep left the company so all of my emails and phone calls were never returned. Without my permission, our ad was published anyways. I've never been so upset with the quality of this 1980's ad they put out of us. Huge mistake on DexYP's part.
