Poor customer service, they never return your call. Having a hard time cancelling our ads.

No surprise this company has the worst reviews. Signing up with Thryv was the worst thing I ever did for my company. They have a non existing customer service and management team as they never get back to me. My contract is officially up yet they still charge my card even though I have a conformation number that my service will be shut off. Do not enter into business with these sharks!

We have confirmed the advertising will cancel on August 28, 2018 and our client was very satisfied with our mutual settlement. Your service is terrible!!! I wasn't notified of invoices for 6 months. I would have cancelled your if I knew I was being billed. When sked if the charges could be dropped, I was told I couldn't do that. Zero stars.

First of all, I'm curious how Dex YP has an A+ rating when 1. They have 119 negative reviews and 3 positive and 2. have a star rating of 3.71? Anyhow, this company will make many promises to you as a small business owner. First start by asking yourself, "if they are publicly traded and owe it to their investors to profit as much as possible, will it be more important to them to get you the best results or will it be more important to them to do the least work/advertising on your behalf for the largest amount of money?" We have stupidly been with Dex Media for several years now. We pay $1400 a month for....well, that's the problem- we're not sure what they do. As of right now we have an Ad online and in print through Yellow Pages, and they monitor calls made through this ad through a program called Thryv. They also post super generic things to our Facebook- when I try to delete things we don't like- they repost it. DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH DEX YP - Absolutely the worst customer service and worst business I have ever dealt with. Because we called a few days "late" our contract was extended 1 year without them ever talking to us. We agreed on this matter to have one more year of service. We tried to cancel the print version of our service, then the "internet" service tripled in price on its own. It amazing how much of a con this business is. In reviewing the complete list of the client's concerns, we did discuss the renewal of the program and that on 3/23/17 a renewal notice was sent to the client for the upcoming 7/2017 program but unfortunately the client didn't call until 7/5/17 which was too late for changes, however their business advisor did work with them to reduce the rate from 139.00 to 119.00 which the client was happy with. I completely agree with the reviews I glanced at here, before deciding to write a review. From Jamie, "I threw $1200 away." I'm looking at the same thing. They are all song and dance. No written contract. When I call the deescalation department, he assured me, "We don't let people out of their contracts; we want to fix the problem." Complete ****! I'm in the midst of it now. I have been with this company since december of 2018. when I signed up for their services I was assured that there would be no contract and no early termination for services if they didn't provide any business through their advertising. I call them today to cancel service since I gave them 6 months to prove themselves as effective just to be told that I would still have to pay 200 dollars a month until march of 2019 if I cancel today or not. so not only did I just throw away 1200 dollars in the last 6 months, I am obligated ... read more

Worst company I've ever worked with. Signed a year contract for a phone book and agent signed me up for digital presence as well. They said they would fix our phonebook listing and the next year it was printed it was still incorrect. Tried getting out of the one year contract and was told I was unable to even though Dex messed up my listing. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER!
